**About the role**:
We are looking to appoint an Administrator and Communications Officer who will provide general administrative and communications support for two research projects. The postholder will maintain regular contact with participating schools in order to keep schools engaged and to coordinate data collection from and data submission by schools. You will communicate the key findings of projects to, and engage with, external audiences of teachers, parents, media and policy-makers in order to maximise the impact of project findings.

The postholder will also assist the project team with reporting to funders which includes monitoring and collating statistics to gain an understanding of the impact of communications. In addition, you will develop and plan a communications strategy for the effective and timely dissemination of project findings through a variety of media, including identifying key messages and audiences.

This post is on a part-time basis (0.80 FTE/ 29.20 hours per week) and initially funded until 31 January 2025

Due to the nature of the duties, a DBS check will be required

**About you**:
You will have experience of working in administration and communications in an educational, research or policy environment, and have administrative skills in finance, administration. In addition, you have experience of creating and maintaining websites and web pages including using a Content Management System (CMS), and experience of using social media to promote an organisation, project, or campaign.
