Cambridge, United Kingdom Safe Soulmates CIC Full time

**THIS IS A VOLUNTRY ROLE**

**About us**

Safe Soulmates is fighting loneliness and social isolation by bringing adults with additional needs together to build trusted connections and find friendship and love in a safe way. We empower Soulmates to form relationships in our safe moderated environment.

**About this voluntary role**

Community fundraisers play a vital role within our rapidly expanding organisation. This role is about motivating, mobilising, and rallying community members together to raise vital funds that allow us to continue supporting and empowering our soulmates. Our organisation leads with empathy and understanding, and we see the results as daily tangible differences in our Soulmates’ lives. We celebrate our differences and diversities because we are all united under the common belief that every person deserves to have friends.

**Does any of this sound like you?**

Are you motivated and excited about community engagement? Are you creative or imaginative? Do you have good communication skills? Are you confident and enthusiastic? Are you non-judgemental? Can you lead with empathy? But most importantly, do you want to make a difference in the face of the epidemic of loneliness for adults with additional needs? Desirable but not essential volunteer skills would include any skills with the potential to become 'sponsored' such as marathon runner
- swimmer
- cyclist
- artist. Even if you don't possess these skills, you could access members of the public with these practical skills; we would strongly encourage you to apply.

**Safe Soulmates - Background**

**Job Type**: Volunteer

**Benefits**:

- Casual dress

Application question(s):

- Are you over the age of 18? Are you prepared to submit to an enhanced DBS check?
