Lettings Negotiator/administrator

**Job Purpose Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Meeting customers in a professional but welcoming manner.

3. Dealing with telephone enquiries from prospective tenants, passing all the correct information to the viewings department to enable them to match tenants to properties

4. Liaising with Landlords and updating them regularly.

5. Producing reports to inform larger clients in a summative form

6. Filing and other office duties such as banking and postal duties

8. Processing payments (deposits + first month’s rent etc.)

9. Occasional property inspections when required

10. Ensure properties meet legal and health and safety requirements, e.g. gas safety certificates;
11. Performing checkouts and completing reports to clients

12. Production of inventories and Schedule of condition reports

13. Liaising with the council tax and utility companies on behalf of Landlords

14. The ability to handle any problems that should arise with properties or clients

15. Good interpersonal skills and ability to quickly form professional relationships at all levels of seniority

16. Ability to prioritise and co-ordinate tasks efficiently ensuring all deadlines are met

17. Supporting the viewings team when necessary by performing viewings with clients

18. Any other duties as deemed necessary to assist the team

**Skills Required**:
1. Previous sales and/or customer service experience would be preferred.

2. Excellent communication skills.

3. Ability to work under pressure with mínimal supervision.

4. Accurate, numerate and computer literate.

5. A team player with excellent organisational skills.

6. A driving Licence would be an advantage

7. Salary dependant on experience
