Durham, United Kingdom Corepeople Full time

Co-ordinator required for a new role with a regional social housing provider. This is to be based in Durham with projects from Northumberland to Teesside.

The Role
This role is to work within a retrofit team. Retrofit refers to any improvement work on an existing building to improve its energy efficiency, making them easier to heat, able to retain that heat for longer, and replacing fossil fuels with renewable energy.

You will support the delivery of the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund, aimed at improving tenants’ energy efficiency and comfort. You will do this by ensuring effective contract administration and monitoring of the contract.

This will require you to ensure effective tenant and stakeholder engagement strategies are in place and effectively managed in accordance with SAP2035 responsibilities, so that tenants understand their individual retrofit measures. Additionally, you will promote strategies relating to the improvement of the energy efficiency of the organisation’s asset portfolio, maximising grant opportunities and ensuring that ‘grant draw down’ milestones are achieved in a timely manner.

Full-time, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Annual salary and benefits circa £36,786 including car allowance. Hybrid working is available, with one day per week at home.

The Person
Applications are welcome from people who ideally have some experience of effective and comprehensive contract administration, coupled with a working knowledge of the monitoring service for Energy Efficiency Grant Funding initiatives, ensuring all key milestone requirements for grant drawdown are achieved.

You will have effective communication and customer service skills to support tenants’ engagement throughout the retrofit programme.

The role is varied and is a key part of the success of this team.

Remuneration
£36,786 per annum.

This is a permanent position and Corepeople Recruitment Limited will be acting as an employment agency for permanent recruitment on behalf of our client.
