The Finance Assistant will be an active member of the Finance team working as part of an organisation which aims to deliver positive outcomes for children, young people and their families.

Compass are seeking a organised and proactive Finance Assistant with the following desirable skills and experience.

**About You**:
Duties will include:

- Ensure that invoices are processed correctly with authorisation following the correct procedure
- Maintain new and current supplier accounts including reconciliation
- Create new Customer accounts and process invoices as directed
- Liaise with Customers over payments and queries. Resolve queries or flag as necessary
- Assist in the processing of employees expenses
- Build strong links with key departments within Compass and develop key relationships with colleagues across the organisation
- Prioritise own workload within agreed objectives using your own initiative
- Previous accounts experience
- Strong numerical skills, accurate with a keen eye for detail
- Flexible and positive in approach, able to work independently and within a small team
- Happy to use initiative and suggest improvements where required
- IT confident with excellent MS Excel Friendly and adaptable
