**About the role**

The Contract Performance Officer plays a key role in monitoring and driving improved performance of a number of its partners such that the Council maximises the financial and non-financial benefits of these relationships. The role is required to work collaboratively across the range of service areas that make up the Parking Enforcement Service; supporting and challenging all partners to ensure the Council achieves effective outcomes in accordance with Contract requirements for the benefit of customers and to ensure continuous innovation and improvement for the Council.

**About you**
- You will have a proven track record of contract/project management
- You will have a high standard of literacy and numeracy along with strong skills using suitable standard and specialist business tools
- You will have the ability to draft complex briefings and reports and present these to management and Members and those external to the Council including local authority peers
- You will have the ability to plan and provide leadership to enable projects/contracts to be developed, delivered and completed on time and budget
- You will have the ability to maintain composure in difficult situations or when faced with strong opposition while building and maintaining an effective network of working relationships
- You will demonstrate impartiality and objectivity when taking actions and making decisions, and be fair, consistent and objective when managing others.
