Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, an established landscaping business in their search for a **Sales Ledger Clerk** to work within their **Finance Team** from their office location in **St Asaph.**
**For the successful Sales Ledger Clerk our client is offering**:
- up to £30,000 per annum
- 8.30 - 5pm Monday to Thursday, Friday (0830 - 1430), Hybrid Opportunity Available (1-2 days from home)
- Permanent
- Holiday allowance of 22 days plus bank holidays (increasing by each year of service, up to a maximum of 26 days), Training provided, Medical cash plan, Christmas Shutdown, Free Lawn Treatments, Store Discounts
**The role - Sales Ledger Clerk**:
- Reduce debtor days, collect aged debts, resolve queries, and generally improve the cash position across the business
- Recommend Credit Notes where errors have been made in billing and follow this through to ensure they are raised in a timely manner and allocated correctly to invoices
- Ensure that all customer receipts are entered onto the customer accounts accurately and in a timely manner; including BACs and Cheque Payments
- Produce credit control and aged debt reports Support the Finance Team, performing any other duties

- Previous experience in a sales ledger / credit control position**:
- ESSENTIAL**:
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel - **ESSENTIAL**:
- Accounting / Finance system knowledge - **DESIREABLE**:
- basic accounting process knowledge - **DESIREABLE**:
- Aged Ledger and Aged Debt finance processes - **ESSENTIAL**
