Sales Ledger Clerk

Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, an established landscaping business in their search for a **Sales Ledger Clerk** to work within their **Finance Team** from their office location in **St Asaph.**
**For the successful Sales Ledger Clerk our client is offering**:
i. up to £26,000 per annum
ii. 8.30 - 5pm Monday to Thursday, Friday (0830 - 1430), Hybrid Opportunity Available (1-2 days from home)
iii. Permanent
iv. Holiday allowance of 22 days plus bank holidays (increasing by each year of service, up to a maximum of 26 days), Training provided, Medical cash plan, Christmas Shutdown, Free Lawn Treatments, Store Discounts
**The role - **Sales Ledger Clerk****:
i. Responsible for reducing aged debts, resolve queries, and improve the overall debt collection position across the business
ii. Ensure that all customer receipts are entered onto the customer accounts accurately and in a timely manner; including BACs and Cheque Payments
iii. Issue customer debt statements and debt reminders
iv. Liaise with external debt chase specialists when required
v. Liaise with the Contact Centre providing them with accurate information so they can support the collection of debt with customers
**What our client is looking for in an **Sales Ledger Clerk**:
i. Previous experience in a sales ledger position**:
- ESSENTIAL**
ii. Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel - **ESSENTIAL**
iii. Accounting / Finance system knowledge - **DESIREABLE**
iv. basic accounting process knowledge - **DESIREABLE***
v. Aged Ledger and Aged Debt finance processes - **ESSENTIAL**
