**Company**:
You will be working for a very successful business who are expanding and looking for a bookkeeper for there next stage of there journey. Well known within the area who are currently turning over circa 12 million a year. Reporting to the operations manager and the managing director, they are after a confident and experienced individual to help them within there finance function.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Perform data entry tasks with precision and accuracy

Purchase Ledger / Sales Ledger transactions

Conduct bank reconciliations and maintain financial records

Prepare monthly reports, including profit and loss statements

customer account inquiries and resolve any queries promptly

Assist with payroll processing

Support end-of-year reporting activities

Prepare and file tax returns accurately and on time

Additional responsibilities may include budgeting, forecasting, general administrative tasks, and identifying opportunities for process improvements.

**Requirements**:
Previous experience in data entry and accounting roles preferred

Proficiency with SAGE software is highly desirable

Strong understanding of bank reconciliation procedures

Experience in preparing monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements

Ability to manage accounts receivable and accounts payable functions effectively

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work

Proven ability to work well within a team environment

Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines

Knowledge of payroll processes and end-of-year reporting requirements is advantageous.

**Benefits**:
Salary - Depending on experience and qualification (30k to 40k)
Hours - 8.30 to 4.30 (can be flexible)
Office based
