**Summer 2023**

Leading International Summer School requires an Essay Writing Teacher for teenagers about to embark on their IB extended essay writing journey. You will cover key essay writing concepts, such as:

- How to create an outline
- How to develop a writing style
- How to break down an assignment
- How to create a sound first draft
- Conclusion writing
- Research and referencing
- Self-reflection

Enthusiasm and flexibility are essential to the role. We are keen to work with people who are passionate about their field and can present lessons through a variety of fun and diverse lessons. Knowledge about the International Baccalaureate programme and the Extended Essay writing criteria is advantageous.

As part of their remit, teachers also write a final report for each their students.

All staff must participate in a mandatory training session which will be scheduled prior to the start of summer school. Applicants must have reliable means of transportation to get to campus on a timely basis. Please be advised that as part of our interview process, we will request contact details for 2 references. All gaps in CVs must be explained satisfactorily. Applicants will also have to provide ID and hold - or be willing to obtain - a current PVG / Enhanced Disclosure / CRB. Salary is pro rata and dependent on factors such as experience and location.
