We are looking for an experienced bookkeeper to join our friendly accountancy practice.

We offer a flexible job role offering hybrid working and flexible hours to suit your lifestyle.

You will need a working knowledge of bookkeeping and payroll software with a focus on detail, as well as being personable, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues. You will have the opportunity to work for a varied client portfolio and communicate directly with clients.

Ideally, you will have experience with most bookkeeping software such as Sage (50 & Cloud), Xero and FreeAgent.

**Responsibilities**:

- Preparation of monthly bookkeeping and management accounts for Limited company's, LLP's, Partnerships and Sole Traders.
- Completion of VAT returns in line with MTD and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Payroll including auto-enrolment.
- Assisting accounts preparation staff with summary work.
- Ad-hoc admin as required.

**Working Requirements**:

- The job role hours are flexible but would expect your hours to mainly fall within Monday - Thursday 8:30 to 17:15, Friday 8:30 to 16:00 so that you can be in contact with the rest of the team.
- Annual leave above and beyond statutory entitlement.
- Semi-casual dress code (exceptions apply).
- Flexibility to work from home and our West Byfleet office (must be commutable).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 32 per week
