MET Recruitment is excited to be working with a prestigious client in the West Bromwich area. My client is looking for a real all-rounder, someone who is happy to get stuck in with the day-to-day running of the accounts department. Ideally, you will have experience in a similar role and equal exposure to payroll and bookkeeping.
**What will you be doing?**
- Dealing with sales & purchase invoices, receipts, and payments
- Verifying hours and calculating overtime and shift payments
- Processing holiday, sick and maternity pay
- Preparation & Submission of VAT Returns
- Help to prepare annual accounts
- Bank reconciliation
- Being a point of contact for employee questions regarding payroll
**What we’re looking for?**
- Experience in a similar role essential
- AAT level 3 or qualified by experience.
- A good communicator
- Experience with stats such as SSP & SMP
- Ability to work well under pressure
