**Job Purpose**

As Sector IQA, your role is to maintain, support and lead on the provision of quality assurance within your field of expertise. You will quality assure, motivate, and develop the Trainer Coaches in your sector to deliver a high-quality learning and development learner experience. As an IQA, your role is to promote best practice and ensure that delivery across standards and courses are in line with the standardisation agreed. Through the provision of IAG to Trainer Coach’s, you will strive to seek the opportunities to improve the learner journey with continuingly developing and evolving Delivery Models. This will ensure consistent and high-quality delivery across the Trainer Coach’s.

You will work with the Lead IQA’s and Head of Quality to ensure the wider quality strategy is implemented, delivering the agreed business targets, developing, and implementing the learner journey and curriculum resources. Ultimately, your role is to champion the learner, and to support the organisation to deliver a high quality of service to each individual studying with Train Together.

**Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities**
- Manage the IQA process, motivate and support the team of Trainer Coaches in your sector to deliver high quality apprenticeships and training.
- Manage a significant caseload of learners as IQA and monitor the quality of evidence involved in the assessment processes.
- Analyse data related to quality assurance and learner progression for your sector and plan actions to improve this by providing clear direction on resourcing for the sector, setting ambitious targets, and taking the initiative to resolve problems
- Work alongside the Head of Quality and Heads of Delivery to develop and review Train Together’s curriculum, sampling plans and Trainer Coach action plans.
- Lead standardisation across your sector.
- Monitor teaching, learning and assessment activities and take forward the OTLA process for your sector.
- Be responsible for maintaining and updating your own CPD log, whilst supporting the Trainer Coach’s to do the same.
- Hold frequent grading reviews with Trainer Coach’s and their Line Managers (frequency dictated by the IQA strategy), to discuss performance.
- Support the Head of Quality carry out Thematic Reviews and Deep Dives across the business to identify trends in areas of strength and areas for development.
- Ensure a good range of resources to support the development of the Trainer Coach’s are available on SharePoint and are updated regularly.
- Attend Team Around Learner (TAL) meetings with the HoD and Trainer Coach seeking to improve outcomes for learning.
- Administer the End Point Assessment process for the sector by managing EPA relationships, communicating EPA changes and improvements, submitting EPA evidence to the EPAO, and managing the booking of EPAs.
- Support the mock EPA process.
- Support the Head of Quality and Centre Manager with SV visits, audits and OFSTED inspections and implement any mandatory and recommended changes.
- Work with all IQA’s across the Company to ensure consistent processes are maintained

**Essential Requirements**:

- Educated to degree level or with comparable professional experience.
- GCSE English A-C, 9-4, NVQ level 2, O’Level A-D or equivalent
- Excellent attention to detail and highly organised
- Excellent communication skills: ability to build effective relationships.
- Entrepreneurial flare: able to see opportunities and drive them forward.
- Experience of working in training/education environment
- Driving licence and use of a car
- Competent user of Microsoft Office software
- Trained coaching professional
- Demonstrate leadership acumen and supported by examples of personal development at Level 5
- Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement or equivalent.
- Level 4 Certificate in Internal Quality Assurance or equivalent
- Strong background in curriculum design and delivery
- Ideally has a background in client engagement - particularly active listening, business strategy and problem solving.

**KPI’s**
- Carry out sampling activities and observations in line with Train Together’s Internal Quality Assurance Strategy.
- Learner and Employer interviews to take place after every observation (where possible) and feedback uploaded to SharePoint within 5 days.
- 100% of Learners requiring additional learning support (ALS) to be sampled, as per the strategy.
- All Learners to be checked within three months of their start date to confirm correct standard/qualification activities are live on bud; all exemption certificates are present, and all have logged some form of OTJ.
- Ensure qualification sampling is robust to maintain ‘Low Risk’, ‘Fully Complaint’ outcomes with Awarding Organisation Monitoring Visits.
