**Role Description**

To plan, deliver and monitor a highly effective internal communications strategy for IT change projects, to support the vast number of activities being undertaken by the business over the next six months. Act as a communications specialist and advisor for the senior management team, inspiring trust by using internal communications best practice to deliver engaging communications across a variety of channels and audiences.

Lead the campaign, channel and event schedule for the assigned change projects working with the Internal Communications Business Partner, Senior Leader and their leadership team, communication champions, and key stakeholders to ensure all communications are effective, timely and aligned to the wider AzH strategy and messaging.

**Key accountabilities**

As a multi-tasker with strong prioritisation skills, you'll be responsible for:

- Defining, developing and delivering the internal communications strategy and plans for the specific IT change projects.
- Take ownership of key deliverables to communicate through the change curve, understand the change and the impact to our people, with heart aligned to our annual Engagement survey action plans and themes.
- Developing a deep understanding and passion for the assigned business area/ projects.
- Working with the Internal Communications Business Partner, Senior Leader and their leadership team to ensure all communications activity is delivered on time, to budget and with clear measurement and reporting for stakeholders. Use creative, innovative and two-way communication where appropriate to create best impact.
- Measuring the effectiveness of communication activity to ensure it delivers the desired outcomes. Undertaking regular reviews to ensure continuous improvement of all activity. Be brave, by challenging and pushing for innovation and fresh thinking.
- Ensure campaigns and messages are aligned with other wider Allianz UK/Group activity and messaging. Work with the rest of the Internal Communications Team to ensure consistent messages are cascaded effectively ensuring our internal audience is at the heart of everything we do.

**Skills and Experience**

Essential:

- Significant communications experience, ideally within financial services/insurance/IT.
- A good understanding of all forms of communication channels, processes and best practice is a must.
- Excellent copywriting, communication and presentation skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Good planning and project organisation skills.
- Confident senior stakeholder management, able to influence.
- Ability to multi-task to tight deadlines in a pressured and changing environment.

Beneficial, but not essential:

- Experience of working on IT communication plans and strategies.
- Qualifications related to communications, business studies or insurance.
- Poppulo experience.
- Able to track and monitor progress and report effectiveness.
