**Job Description**:
**JOB PURPOSE**
To administer the Document Control System and associated Modules (Q-Pulse) and ensure that all Policies, Procedures and Standards are maintained, are up to date and issued in a timely manner to all relevant staff.
To be responsible for ensuring compliance and competence of the Field Services and Maintenance departments

**RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES**
- Responsible for the administration and maintenance of Harsco Rail’s Documentation Management System (Q-Pulse)
- Responsible for the administration and maintenance of Harsco Rail’s eCompliance Safety Management System
- Responsible for organising and delivering training on Q-Pulse
- To ensure that all company policies and procedures are inline with the company format
- To provide monthly updates of overdue review, acknowledgements and outstanding authorisations to the Senior Leadership Team
- To produce and submit Customer Review Meeting - period end reports
- To review and collate external Standards relevant to Harsco Rail and communicate these to the Professional Heads
- To assist in the review, development and maintenance of the competence management system
- To audit the competency records for all employees
- To attend competency meetings to ensure assessors are operating consistently
- To create, develop and maintain any databases / spreadsheets relevant to the management of compliance and competence
- To provide relevant reports to the OTM Fleet Managers and Depot Supervisors as required
- To take the lead in ensuring continuous improvement in compliance and competence
- To undertake the role of Harsco Rail’s Sustainability Coordinator.
- To undertake travel within the UK when necessary
