**Job Purpose**

To improve the long-term health and wellbeing of residents in North Birmingham. A key purpose of interventions will be to keep individuals well and independent in the place they live and reduce emergency hospital admissions.

The post holder will develop, co-ordinate, commission and deliver a range of physical activities to enable, empower and encourage adults to lead independent and active lifestyles.

**Some Key tasks and responsibilities**
- Plan, develop and co-ordinate/commission safe, inclusive, and enjoyable projects which encourage adults to increase physical activity and reduce inactivity across multiple settings managed by the Association.
- Develop and deliver a range of engaging physical activities across the Associations’ Hubs that attract a wide range of audiences.
- Over time develop a programme of physical activities that are co-ordinated, led, and managed by local volunteers.
- Establish Witton Lakes Eco Hub as a centre of excellence in North Birmingham, recognised for physical activities catering for all levels of health, mobility and lifestyles.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £23,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
