You will work at any of the Sheltered Housing schemes across the town, providing housing management support to sheltered tenants. You will be responsible for managing a number of schemes, carrying out regular contacts with tenants, completing support plans and risk assessments and responding to emergency calls from tenants.- The successful applicant will have experience of working with vulnerable customers with a range of social and housing needs, be confident and self-motivated and have the ability to work independently and as part of a dispersed team. An understanding of professional boundaries together with excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.- A minimum of 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) to include Maths and English, at grade 4/C or above is essential.- About Blackpool Coastal Housing- Blackpool Coastal Housing was set up by Blackpool Council in 2007 to manage their housing stock of almost 5,000 properties. Supported Housing; including supported living in Sheltered Schemes, Young People’s Resettlement Schemes including Care Leavers and Emergency Housing for those that find themselves homeless. Our Care and Repair Service allows Blackpool residents to remain in their own homes through the Adaptations team providing the necessary aids/adaptations for this to be achieved.
