We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Assistant at St Pierre Park Spa and Golf Resort, part of Hand Picked Hotels.

St Pierre Park Hotel Spa and Golf Resort is a 131 Bedroom, 4 Star luxury hotel located close to St Peters Port on the beautiful island of Guernsey and is renowned for being the largest hotel on the island, and one of the best for a romantic get a way.Dine on the Terrace overlooking the lake, experience a luxurious spa treatment or play one of only three golf courses on the island, this is the perfect base to explore the wonderful island of Guernsey.

**About the Role**:

- As Maintenance Assistant your role will involve ensuring our hotel is both safe and functional for our guests and colleagues.
- Combining a mixture or proactive and reactive maintenance responsibilities.
- Conducting general hotel maintenance, looking after the property and the staff accommodation like it’s your own.
- Be responsible for scheduling regular health and safety checks, ensuring Hand Picked Hotels adheres to all regulatory standards.
- You will be responsible for the upkeep of the facilities to the highest standards to deliver an excellent guest experience.
- Most of all we will want you to be inspired, have fun and enjoy being part of our Hand Picked Team.

**About you**:

- To be considered for this role you will have previous experience in Maintenance and a wide range of skills and knowledge.
- You’ll be motivated by keeping this historic Hotel looking her best and in excellent working order.
- Enjoy being responsible and taking ownership of the safety and security of the Hotel and all of its guests is paramount for this role.
- You’ll enjoy working with people and building a rapport with your colleagues and guests.
- Most of all, you’ll have a professional, organised and friendly approach.

- A competitive salary package of £31,200 per year, additional hours will be paid at the hourly rate of £15.00 plus a share of service charge.
- This is a Full-Time role working 5 days out of 7 including weekends on a rota basis, 40 hours per week, which may vary depending on business needs.
