**About The Role**:
GSF Car Parts is one of the UK’s leading motor factor businesses with branches nationwide supplying thousands of automotive trade and retail customers with original equipment quality parts through a variety of channels to the end consumer.

As the Planning and Reporting Coordinator your primary responsibilities are around the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of the data and reporting used to feed the decisions in the distribution centres. Whether that’s how fulfilment was met, staff are performing or how space utilisation is performing the reporting you are responsible for will underpin the good decision making of the management team. It is your role that will build data that fuels the decisions we make and helps communicate performance to the wider business.

**Main duties**:

- Be accurate, efficient, and diligent in your activities whilst being an integral part of the warehouse team and ensuring all targets are met
- Manage and the accuracy and quality of your work and that may be picking and packing outbound stock, receiving, and putting away inbound stock or processing administrative stock tasks
- Have a willingness to learn and experience other functions of the business
- You are responsible for ensuring you maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues
- Actively develop skills through training, e-learning and any relevant coaching opportunities that are presented to you
- Ensure you always work accurately and approach work with a ‘right first time, mentality
- Work collaboratively with colleagues both in your own area and across the warehouse
- Be aware of working a continuous improvement environment ensuring performance is constantly being evaluated and improvement initiatives instigated. Show a willingness to feedback on your own ideas and drive change
- Embrace change and new ways of working to underpin that continuous improvement approach
- Ensure the safe operation of the facility by complying with GSF Health and Safety and Hazardous Materials policies and procedures
- Any other duty as required by the line manager commensurate with the post

**Working hours**:
42.5 hours working Monday - Saturday working on a rota basis

**Bonus Points if you have**:

- Previous experience in a warehouse environment
- Experience with contemporary warehousing IT functionality, including Warehouse Management systems
- Strong analytical and IT skills
