**Document Controller - EPC Projects**
- Location: Manchester or Newcastle with remote work possible.
- 9+ month contract
- £25 p/h to £30 p/h - depending on experience
- This role is deemed Inside IR35
Turner Lovell are recruiting for an experienced Document Controller to join an international construction & engineering firm currently executing EPC projects across the UK and Europe.
We are currently looking for experienced document controllers to join high project projects in offshore wind, oil and gas and complex construction projects.
In this role, you will implement and support the document management systems on technically challenging projects for international customers. You will join fast paced projects where you be part of a growing team of engineers and project managers who are at the forefront of their industry. Working from their offices, in either Manchester or Newcastle, you will be responsible for the technical documentation activities coming from installation sites, customers and suppliers.
The role of the Document Controller will include:
- Initial point of contact for all document control activities within the EPC project
- Ensures the availability of the up-to-date documentation for the various sites and customer requests.
- Manages, distributes, and documents feedback, responses and incoming documents from suppliers, customers and other third parties.
- Collects the "as-built" documents ("red-lining") and manages them in line with company process.
- Administrates and maintains the documentation and provides parts of it as requested.
- Ensures correct versioning and revisioning.
- Manages, distributes, and documents feedback, responses, and incoming documents (from site or internal customers).
- Ensure all project documentation is collated in accordance with the project close out
- Monthly and weekly status reporting for the project
- Support other project managers with document management skills.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a Document Controller.
- Experience working on large scale engineering or construction projects in the UK or Europe.
- High proficiently in a wide range of document control software systems.
- Ensure good working relationships with customers and their representatives.
**Salary**: £25.00-£30.00 per hour
