Just Temps are currently seeking a Purchase Ledger Assistant for our client based in Sudbury, Suffolk
Hours Monday - Thursday 9:00 to 4:30 (1/2 hour lunch) Weekly hours on offer up to 28 hours per week.
Pay - Dependent on experience

To be an active member of the Purchase Ledger Team ensuring the accuracy and integrity of purchase ledger and timely payment of suppliers.
To work as part of the purchase ledger team and report through the Senior Purchase Ledger Assistant and directly with the Procurement and Purchase Ledger Manager on any aspects of purchase ledger role

- To support the Purchase Ledger Team Leader as required.
- To process invoices and credit notes aligned to company policies
- To check and ensure coding & authorisation of purchase ledger invoices and expense claims.
- To process staff expense claims (manually)
- To review supplier statements and contact them for any missing invoices
- To file purchase ledger invoices to facilitate inspection by staff and Auditors
- To maintain the cashbook in respect of miscellaneous manual cheques
- Any other duties and responsibilities that may be reasonably assigned
- **Knowledge & Experience...**_
- At least 2 years’ experience of working within a purchase ledger environment
- At least 2 years’ Experience of working within a busy finance environment/team.
- Experience or Access account system - preferred
- Experience of working to deadlines under own initiative
- Experience of communicating with internal and external suppliers
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary contract
**Salary**: From £10.50 per hour
