We are looking for inspirational and engaging **Family Engagement Lead** who share their commitment and vision in providing an ambitious, therapeutic, person-centred learning environment for students with ASD.

We are seeking to appoint a highly skilled, motivated, and caring Engagement Lead who will make learning fun, always put children first and are committed to making a real difference to the lives of the children in our school.

Haywards Farm School is part of Amegreen Education, which encompasses our Alternative Learning Farm provisions situated across rural West Berkshire and Oxfordshire. Following the success and local demand for our services, we are pleased to announce the opening of our first independent school located in West Berkshire.

Across our network of Alternative learning provisions, Therapy Centre and Children’s homes, our dedicated and experienced school staff work in collaboration with specialist teams of professionals to enable every young person to explore and develop their own unique talents. We enable possibilities and opportunities through our variety of services along with the stability of a school placement.
- Carry out the professional duties of a Family Engagement Lead as circumstances require and in accordance with the school's policies, under the direction of the Head Teacher
- To provide a specialist service to assist the school in meeting their obligations and targets in relation to school engagement and attendance including devising and fulfilling strategies and action plans for pupils whose engagement is falling.
- Act as a lead advocate between the families, professionals, and school in ensuring that the child’s outcomes are being met through positive engagement.
- To be part of a team of professionals enabling young people to explore and develop their own unique talents, skills and abilities through engagement and attendance.

**Experience**:

- Minimum of **3 years’ experience supporting children with SEN** in some form of therapeutic/ pastoral capacity in Key Stage One/Key stage two/ Key stage 3/ Key stage 4.
