About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Sector Expert to lead the delivery of projects within our Natural Resources team, operating across the Thames Valley region. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in Tier 1 Water and Civils frameworks.

Location:

The ideal location for this role is within commutable distance to our sites across the Thames Valley and Reading region, with on-site presence required but with flexible remote working options available when possible.

Main Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Senior Project Managers to oversee project delivery through all stages, from design to handover, on multiple integrated schemes involving treatment and distribution asset installation and upgrading.
  • Implement and monitor SHE policies and procedures in line with the Kier Integrated Management System (IMS).
  • Engage with direct and supply chain workforce on Health, Safety and Well-being matters, promoting engagement through leading indicators.
  • Select Civil, Mechanical & Electrical supply chain and package scope based on technical and commercial judgement, considering client Frameworks and programme or commercial opportunities.
  • Account for design integration of civil and M&E package plants and associated control and automation.
  • Own project programmes and provide advice to Project Planners, ensuring robust cost control and accurate forecasting.
Key Requirements
  • Proven industry experience, preferably including Water/Waste Water sectors.
  • BEng/HND qualified Civil Engineer or equivalent higher education qualification.
  • Demonstrated people and project management skills with commercial awareness.
  • Familiarity with CEMAR.
Compensation Package

We offer a competitive salary range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including comprehensive health insurance and professional development opportunities.
