The successful Administrator will be rewarded with the following package:
Salary up to £28k

25 days paid holidays + bank holidays

On-site free car parking

Normal office hours Monday - Friday 08:30 -17:00

Working with well known clients and a friendly team this role will be busy, varied and very reactive.
The position entails assisting several departments within the business including Hr, Recruitment, Training, Marketing, Fleet management and general administrative support, duties will include:
Organising and booking all training courses for office and site staff

Keep track of training expiry dates

Upload certificates once awarded

Update the HR systems with staff holidays/absence/New starters/Leavers and any changes to contracts

Assist in bringing apprentices into the team, completing the relevant paperwork

Recruitment administration, posting job adverts on-line and speaking to agencies

Keep up to date records of Healthcare/Life Assurance policies

Assist in ensuring the fleet of vehicles are roadworthy, organising any MOTS/services or repairs that are required

Get quotes for new hire vehicles and leases.

Liaising with 3rd party IT support - raising a ticket to report faults and ensuring problem resolved as soon as possible.

Liaising with the marketing team with social media / content.

Research advertising opportunities, suppliers for marketing materials and acquiring quotes.

Ordering and distribution of company PPE.

Prepare reports

Sort and distribute post

Gather quotes for office equipment

Liaising with the company's insurance provider

Book travel & accommodation.

Answering the telephone, taking messages and transferring calls

Greeting visitors and making refreshments

General administration - scanning, photocopying, amending documents etc

The successful administrator will have the following skills and attributes

Previous varied administration experience working within a manufacturing, construction or similar Blue collar industry

Strong communication skills with the ability to converse effectively at all levels

Be well organised and have the capability to prioritise

Excellent IT skills, proficient in all Microsoft Office

Attention to detail / methodical approach
