Advanced Critical Care Practitioner

The critical care unit at the William Harvey Hospital is a dynamic and busy mixed level 16 bedded unit. Later this year we will be moving to a brand new purpose built critical care unit with 24 funded beds. The programme is centred around the four pillars of advanced practice. On completion of both theoretical and practical components of this training post the advanced critical care practitioner will be able to demonstrate safe, advanced health assessment, diagnosis, decision-making and pharmacology/non-medical prescribing.
