As an Advanced clinical Practitioner team we are working hard to ensure we put children and their families at the heart of everything we do. We are on an exciting improvement journey and can offer you a rewarding, flexible and supportive role providing a full training.

The purpose of this role is to ensure a safe and timely assessment and ongoing support to children and young people who present to EKHUFT.

The Trainee will be expected to work across site in both Children’s assessment area, provide support to the inpatient wards and Children’s ED when appropriate.

You will be joining a team of Children’s Trainee and qualified ACP’s working within a busy CAU - you will be working across the two acute sites.
- Full clinical training opportunities given working within the MDT. You will have a qualified ACP mentor to work alongside throughout your training.
- You will be joining our team of qualified and trainee paediatric advanced Clinical Practitioners.
- Full academic training provided to MSc level at LSBU with pay progression points.
- Initially working the CAU on the inpatient wards with a move proposed to a purpose built co-located CAU alongside Paediatric ED.
- Support to fulfil all four pillars of advanced practice with an expectation that thr Trainee ACP will be lead on projects within their remit.
