**Apprentice Administrator**:
This is an amazing opportunity for an **Apprentice Office Coordinator** for our Birmingham office. An excellent chance for the right individual to develop their skills in administration whilst ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Office, alongside studying for an NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration. You will have exposure working with some of high-profile teams including Infrastructure, Commercial and Planning and Contract Management Team and GIS.

If successful, this role could potentially lead to becoming the overall Office Manager for our Birmingham office.

**KEY TASKS**:

- Oversee the smooth operation and day to day running of the office.
- Provide a high level of efficiency and customer service to all clients and Carter Jonas staff who visit or contact the office.
- Manage stationery stocks to ensure adequate provisions at all times including tea and coffee.
- Ensure all post and deliveries are distributed to relevant colleagues and teams throughout the office, ensure all outgoing post is at the collection point (within the building).
- Maintain the condition of the office to include enforcement of a clear desk policy.
- Liaison with Building Management, Building Security and Contractors as and when required in order to ensure smooth running of the office.
- Maintain the Carter Jonas access control system to ensure only authorised personnel can gain access to Carter Jonas office.
- Office IT liaison including provision of simple IT support from within the office, ensure all equipment is running effectively, raising service requests with IT team and coordination of the distribution of IT equipment for new starters. Ensure the operation/functioning of all office equipment, arranging for repairs/replacement, as necessary.
- Manage the booking of multiple meeting rooms, including receiving attendees for meetings and arranging refreshments.

This job description is not exhaustive, and the jobholder may be required to undertake additional relevant duties from time to time to ensure the smooth running of the Office.
