Operations Coordinator

SWS ltd are looking for a driven and motivated ‘operations coordinator’ who has previous experience on a hire desk.
We are a waste management company based in Glasgow but also work throughout the UK.
We're looking for someone who is resilient with a high degree of confidence with the ability to multi-task and answer high volume calls and to co-ordinate the hires of our very busy desk.
Being able to communicate effectively and build solid relationships with our customers is critical. Attention to detail is a must as the role will be required to input data into our hire software, the individual must be pro-active to ensure all departments work together, confidence is vital for this role.
On a day-to-day basis, you can expect to be desk-based, working directly with our other departments, liaising regularly with customers, operators, and waste partners to ensure mínimal delay in fulfilling the needs of the customer.
Experience of using IT software and previous waste management knowledge would be an advantage but not essential.
The role requires you to have the ability to work in an ever-changing fast paced environment whilst supporting other members within the team. Knowing the importance of self-motivation, enthusiasm and resilience is key for this role.
