**Remuneration**: Dependant on experience and skill set with excellent earning potential.

**Working hours**: 8:00 - 16:30 Monday to Friday with two 30 min breaks. 40hrs a week. Regular overtime available.

Due to continued growth and investment, we are looking to appoint a site-based Trainee Batching Plant Operator to strengthen the production team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking for a new career endeavour and has relevant transferrable skills.

**The job purpose is to**:

- Batching the concrete as per bespoke mix design supplied by the authorised person.
- Liaise with our Laboratory Team to ensure that the batches meet specification.
- Carry out daily checks and maintenance of associated plant and machinery.
- Maintain adequate levels of all supplies and products.
- Keep accurate batch records.
- Support and drive the process to ensure optimum productivity.
- Cooperate with the winder company team including Factory Managers, Purchasing, and Research & Development as required.
- Follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Willing to learn.
- Have good mechanical aptitude.
- Have a positive ‘can do’ attitude.
- Have time management skills.
- Able to prioritise tasks and think on their feet with a methodical approach.
- Able to multi-task, be hardworking and have high attention to detail.
- Able to maintain good timekeeping and attendance record.
- Able to keep the work area clean and organised.
- Able to follow detailed instructions and complete tasks as required.
- Have good communication skills.
- Overhead crane and FLT experience would be an advantage but not essential.
