**Pay**: Rate of pay will depend on experience and skill set. Pay will increase on annual basis following satisfactory performance.

**Working hours**: 8:30 - 17:00 Monday to Friday with two 30 min breaks. 40hrs a week. Flexibility will be required to meet manufacturing demands. Overtime available during the week paid at 50% extra.

Thorp Precast are a forward-thinking construction business with a passion for quality and innovation. We specialise in the design, manufacture and installation of bespoke architectural panels and structures.

Due to continued growth and investment, we are looking to strengthen our site production team and therefore seeking Brick Panel Manufacturing Operatives. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking for a stable and varied position with an opportunity to gain or enhance skills within the building and construction industry.

Full training provided and immediate start available.

**The role encompasses but is not limited to the following tasks**:

- Batching both grey and architectural concrete mix designs
- Delivering concrete to point of use within the site
- Taking samples, making cubes and ensuring compliance
- Daily checks and maintenance of associated plan and machinery
- Liaising with external suppliers
- Keeping accurate batch records
- Maintaining and replenishing stock levels
- Supporting and driving the process to ensure optimum productivity

This is a unique opportunity to join a forward thinking, vibrant team. A positive “can do” attitude is a prerequisite as is the ability to prioritise tasks and think on your feet. You will need an eye for detail and a methodical approach. Good IT skills are also required for this role as well as the ability to communicate with all colleagues and external suppliers.
