Plant Maintenance Engineer (Diesel Generators)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Plant Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Ernest Gordon Recruitment. As a Plant Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting maintenance and assembly on a variety of heavy plant equipment, including diesel engines, forklifts, HGVs, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel generators and plant equipment
  • Inspect and test gas systems to ensure safe operation
  • Work Monday to Friday, with flexible hours and optional overtime
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve maintenance goals and objectives

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working with diesel engines and generators
  • Knowledge of plant and heavy industry maintenance practices
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
