Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced Practice and Improvement Lead to work within Plymouth Council. This role is office based in Plymouth two days per week with home working option remaining days.

**Job Purpose**
- Lead and establish a system of enhanced oversight, grip and traction of 3 priority groups
- A defined (to be scoped and agreed) cohort of high profile and high cost complex children in care including all children and young people in unregulated settings and all children in residential settings under 12, ensuring agreed outcomes are delivered for them. This will include ensuring the right wraparound support and intervention to sustainably deescalate risk issues, reduce high staffing ratios and improve care pathway options.
- All new unplanned entrants into care and all young people identified as at imminent risk of care over the age of 16 (this must be flagged early by PRAS AND CSW services)
- All children and Young People where reunification may be viable and those who already have reunification plans in - (working in partnership with AST). Chairing / fit with existing oversight arrangement including high cost panel, step-forward panel and reunification board to be review with improvement lead
- Lead a project team who will provide a range of support, including at times practical and direct work in partnership with the allocated social worker and Team Manager, to all three cohorts and to support pace and quality of work identified within the child's care plan. This may include a rapid response system for YP at imminent risk of care.
