**As a Reception & Welcome Volunteer, you will be joining a team of staff who provide amazing support to people using the centre and the public.**

This role is negotiable in terms of hours but we're looking for volunteers who are willing to make a weekly commitment. Your role may include:

- Offering assistance, which could include signposting to activities or services within Sense
- Welcoming visitors and staff in a professional manner
- Supporting the smooth running of the TouchBase Pears Reception desk
- Taking people to their meeting rooms and providing support they may need
- Helping keep public areas clear, accessible and safe from hazards
- Undertaking any other duties as may be reasonably required for the efficient running of the public-facing services at TouchBase Pears.

By working together as a team you will ensure that TouchBase Pears can provide high quality support to families, people using the service and the public. You will also be ensuring that TouchBase can live its values and provide meaningful opportunities to all.

- Interested in supporting the work of Sense and want to make a difference to people who have complex disabilities and are deafblind.
