We have a great opportunity for a **Claims Administrator** to join our Claims Teams in our Leeds office.

The main focus of this role will be responsible for supporting the Claims team with any and all required administrative tasks. The job holder will be expected to conclude matters in an efficient and professional manner whilst ensuring all parties are kept fully appraised throughout the claims process. The ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders is essential.

The roles could suit either an experienced Administrator looking for a new challenge or even a confident, articulate School/College leaver with an interest in insurance looking for the chance to join a global leader within the Insurance sector.

There is an expectation to be in the office 3 days per week on average, with flexibility to work remotely 2 days per week.

**We will rely on you to**:

- To manage and carry out all necessary ‘Claims administrative duties’ for the claims team including logging & maintaining accurate claims information.
- Ensure diary tasks are added to each claim.
- Using a common sense approach and communicating with the respective claims handler to flag any issues identified.
- To assist the team members in adding and uploading claims data to the Acturis system to enable production of accurate MI / claims reports and analysis.
- Understanding the claims ethos demonstrating a client centric focus.
- Respond to queries in a timely and accurate manner.
- Telephone support for the team where required.
- To demonstrate enthusiasm and ‘can do’ approach.
- General ad hoc tasks as required.

**What you need to have**:

- Previous experience within an administrative capacity is ideal
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and be able to work flexibly when required
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple enquiries simultaneously
- Fully Competent in Microsoft Office Products
- Strong literacy, numeracy, administration and organisational skills
- Good written and oral communication skills
