**JOB OVERVIEW**:

- As part of the Workforce Efficiencies programme, lead the Medical Workforce workstream to develop a workforce transformation plan with key stakeholders that is a route map for service change in order to deliver the system vision and strategic objectives.
- The post holder will have lead responsibility for ensuring there is collaboration on all workstream activity across the health and care system in Cornwall and IOS.
- This includes the design, delivery and sustainability of a future fit medical workforce with medical leaders and business as usual medical staffing teams. This includes overall leadership and management of the work, team, processes & policies, systems, associated SLAs & KPIs and delivery of the c£20million efficiencies.
- The post holder will work closely with the teams across both POD within RCHT and HR&OD within CFT and other members of the Trust senior management to drive and implement effective workforce efficiency programmes.
- It will be expected that the post holder will seek continuous improvement and is able to lead a highly motivated and successful team.

**PERSON SPEC**:
**Essential**:

- Masters level qualification in related area or equivalent experience
- Degree level qualification in specialisms or equivalent experience
- Post grad qualification in leadership/management or equivalent experience
- Clinical qualification and experience at a senior level
- Qualification in project management or relevant equivalent experience
- Extensive experience of medical workforce models of working and terms and conditions
- Understanding of the NHS and its systems and processes
- Experience of analysing data and delivering accurate reporting
- Experience of establishing and managing business information systems
- Experience in budget and resource management

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract

**Salary**: £58,972.00-£68,525.00 per year
