**Full Time / Permanent contract - evening and weekend work required on a rota basis**
**Starting Salary £20,796 per annum, salary progression after probation period**
**Based at the St Albans Campus**
Oaklands College are recruiting an Animal technician to join our friendly, hardworking team and be actively involved in the daily care and maintenance of animals within our animal facility.
The job duties will involve general husbandry, looking after welfare requirements, record keeping, checking and recording environmental parameters, health monitoring, general hygiene and cleaning as well as monitoring/mentoring students working towards their qualification.
Ideally you will hold an Animal related Level 2/3 or equivalent qualification, some experience in an animal or teaching setting would be desirable.
