Animal Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Animal Care Specialist to join our team in Lytham, Lancashire. As part of our dynamic veterinary practice, you will provide exceptional care to animals while working in a collaborative environment.
About the RoleSalary: £60,000 per annum
Location: Lytham, Lancashire
Working Hours: We are ideally looking for someone to work 2 days per week with flexibility to cover Saturday mornings on a 1-in-3 rota basis.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments on a variety of animals.
- Conduct surgical procedures as needed, including spaying, neutering, and other minor surgeries.
- Collaborate with veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Provide guidance and advice to pet owners on general care, feeding, and wellness.
- Maintain accurate records of patient histories, treatments, and progress.
- Veterinary degree from a recognized institution.
- Valid veterinary license to practice in the UK.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Compassionate and caring approach to animals.
