About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Insurance Claims Specialist to join our team at Atos SE. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for assessing and processing life, critical illness, and disability claims.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing claims within required service standards and departmental objectives
  • Operating within defined authority levels – Life Protection, Critical Illness, and Disability benefits
  • Producing accurate assessments of all claims using title, medical, financial, occupational, and pursuits evidence in line with claims philosophy and practices
  • Handling and supporting complex customer and IFA enquiries, on the telephone and in writing
  • Handling complaints in line with regulatory timescales and company procedures
  • Contributing to the effective management of claims costs, including medical fees, and seeking opportunities to reduce costs
  • Minimizing and alleviating reputational and financial risk to both Atos and Royal London
  • Contributing to future improvements based on analysis of complaint root cause and claims end-to-end times

Requirements:

  • Claims assessment experience across life, critical illness, and disability benefits
  • Excellent communication skills, confident to probe customers and share difficult messages in a clear and concise manner both verbally and in writing
  • Claims Diploma or other appropriate financial services qualifications, preferred but not essential

What We Offer:

  • Estimated salary: £38,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience
