Due to continued growth, we are looking for an ambitious Associate Health & Safety Construction Consultant. This role will see you joining our national H&S Advisory team, working from our Manchester city centre office.

As an Associate you will be responsible for managing and growing the upcoming Manchester region, with the support from our Director. You will work on a wide variety of projects as part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering principal designer and CDM services.

This role is intended to take ownership of projects in the North of England where we currently see strong potential for continued growth. This position will see you taking ownership to coordinate and manage our goals in the Northern Region.

This role will take the lead for regional Business Development (BD) and project delivery. Through establishing a network both internally and externally, working with the multi discipline and BD teams in the region it is expected this role will lead on projects, fee proposals and client engagement. This will also require the tracking of resource and project performance reporting back to the Director with a plan of where resource is required and assist in formalising a pipeline of work.
- Overall this role requires a high level of technical knowledge to deliver projects combined with a sound business acumen as well as astute commercial awareness.
- Proven ability to lead H&S in large complex projects and niche technical projects
- Have a sound knowledge of CDM regulations and the duties of the principal designer
- Have experience in business development and building commercial relationships

**About You**:
The successful Associate H&S Construction Consultant will be a dynamic, enthusiastic, responsible and practical person, who shares the same values and ambition of our consultants.

***Technical Competencies**
- Experience in either construction site safety or design (Architecture, Engineering, Surveying etc.)
- NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety preferred (or equivalent) and membership of a professional body (CMaPs, Technician IOSH)
- Practical experience in managing or providing dedicated CDM / H&S advisor services/role
- Comprehensive knowledge of Construction, Design and Management (CDM) Regulations 2015
- Undertaking regular CPD activities
- Good technical and industry-wide Statutory Regulation knowledge
- Proven capability of managing major projects / clients
- Good Microsoft office and other software package skills
