About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our successful service as a Specialty Doctor in Mental Health. The post involves assessment and management of patients with severe and enduring mental illness in the community.

Main Responsibilities
  • Undertake administrative duties associated with patient care, including accurate and comprehensive record-keeping.
  • Participate in annual appraisal and maintain professional registration with the General Medical Council.
  • Attend and participate in the academic program of the Trust, including lectures and seminars.
  • Maintain professional codes of conduct and abide by the Trust's policies and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with local managers and professional colleagues to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Participate in investigations and service planning activities.
