- Our oncology team in our Derby Hospital currently have an internal opportunity for an Oncology Administrator. Continue your journey with us whilst we’ll support you to be your best.**The Role**
As an Oncology Administrator you will assist clinical staff in the unit in supporting oncology patients by:
- Processing administrative paperwork for arriving and discharging patients
- Liaising with insurers regarding treatments.
- Ensuring governance is maintained within the unit by supporting the Lead Oncology Nurse
- Handle enquiries and general queries.
- Maintain databases.
- Provide secretarial services such as minute taking, WP and diary management.
**The Person**
To succeed as an Oncology Administrator you will;- Be a confident and customer-focused communicator with the ability to manage, appraise and interpret the right data, and to present it in a timely and professional manner.
- Ideally be educated to GCSE in English and Maths, with NVQ Level 2 in Business and Administration or equivalent.
- Have good IT and keyboard skills (essential)
- Have experience within an administrative or customer facing environment would be a real advantage.**Helping you feel good.**
