Using independent judgement, the post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day operational co-ordination of medical staffing issues within the East Paediatrics Team.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
- To co-ordinate the provision of accurate, reliable and timely medical staffing information in relation to vacancies, recruitment, on-call rotas and Royal College of Psychiatrists approval.
- Regular liaison with the Medical Staffing resource teams across BCU to ensure information is relevant and accurate
- The retrieval and tracking approval process for posts that require Royal College of Paediatrics’ approval.
- Working closely with the Assistant Operations Manager and Operations Manager to ensure medical staffing is sustainable to provide a quality service for BCUHB.
- To make presentations at appropriate meetings when required.
