A 10-year-old family-run spice business known for its beautiful sari-wrapped spice tins and incredible, vibrant spice blends is looking for an energetic and experienced Administration Assistant who can help take the organisation of the business to the next level. They sell direct-to-consumer through their own digital store and also B2B to a number of delis, farm shops, and retailers.

As a small team, every member has an impact on shaping their culture, and your role will be pivotal in this. You will be a key team member and will take charge of making sense of a very busy inbox and supporting lots of key areas to ensure the business runs smoothly.

As Administration Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

- Filling in new supplier forms and completing compliance documentation as needed
- Procurement of all product materials, ensuring quality and best value
- Updating contracts/employee handbooks
- Logging HR-related matters with outsourced HR support
- Ordering tech as needed and resolving IT issues with outsourced IT support
- Providing PA support to the Founder
- Event planning for up to 10 trade shows a year
- Completing health and safety forms, risk assessments, ordering what’s needed for event stands, registering staff who are attending and ensuring sure they have all the info they need e.g., entrance badge’s etc.
- Making sure projects are completed, for example, organising the office, office decorating, break-room renovation, flooring, and outdoor signage
- Arranging and facilitating the weekly issue meetings
- Ensuring the office is kept tidy and welcoming for staff and guests
- Helping to drive continuous improvement across all processes, focused on enhancing the team performance, operational procedures, systems, data, and management reporting to create greater business value.

The ideal Administration Assistant:

- Ability to multitask and spin multiple plates
- Structured and organised
- A love for food and cooking
- High standards of customer service

You will work full-time, Monday-Friday, 08:30-16:30, with some out-of-hour support required in busy periods. In return, you will receive a competitive salary plus an annual bonus and 26 days' holiday.

**Salary**: £22,500.00-£27,500.00 per year
