**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide medical information to internal and external customers in a timely and accurate manner.
- Serve as a Therapy Area [TA] specialist, working with Medical Affairs [MAF] and brand teams to implement business strategies to assigned Therapy Area [TA] in adherence with the ABPI Code of Practice.

**As a Medical Information Specialist, you will be responsible for**:

- Provide medical information and support to internal and external customers in a timely and accurate manner.
- Review and approve customer-facing materials for compliance with regulations and company policies.
- Maintain and update knowledge of assigned therapeutic area Collaborate with internal partners to develop and implement innovative medical information services.
- Attend and present at internal and external meetings as necessary.
- Maintain and update knowledge of assigned therapeutic area.
- Respond to customer inquiries in a professional and compliant manner.
- Continuously update knowledge of regulations and guidelines related to medical information provision.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of departmental SOPs.
- Participate in departmental and cross-functional projects as needed.
- Attend and complete any required training.
- Participate in inspections and audits as needed and maintain inspection readiness by keeping CVs and job descriptions up to date.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation.
- Support team members including coaching and mentoring newer colleagues in managing workloads and quality of work.
- Build relationships with EMEA MAF Functional network and brand teams in assigned TA.
- Educate Account Managers, Medical Science Liaisons, and other internal colleagues on the use of Medical Information and product SmPCs/clinical literature.
- Participate, shape, and deliver internal and external courses and industry meetings to stay up to date with industry developments and further shape Medical Information offering.
- Understand and abide by HCC and legal requirements (Fair Market Value, Transfer of Value rules, Promotional Materials rules).

**Qualifications**:
**Qualifications**
- Pharmacy or Biological Science degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience in Medical Information in the pharmaceutical industry or equivalent in the healthcare environment.
- Knowledge of the role of Medical Information in the pharmaceutical industry and regulations governing the function.
