We are looking for a Research and Insight Lead to join our team.Full time, part time and job share opportunities will be considered. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of **£40,478 - £46,549 per annum (pro rata for part time).**
**The Research and Insight Lead Role**
Our Councils are highly ambitious and want to see significant improvement for the wellbeing of our residents and communities.
Evolving our existing performance approach, a new Outcomes Framework provides the golden thread between our strategy and business planning arrangements. It links the Corporate Plan, the six strategic priorities, the service plans and personal plans, as wellas ensuring the Corporate Delivery Plan is delivering the right activities.It drives the new performance management approach for our Councils and the direction of travel for embedding a more comprehensive culture of performance challenge and improvementaligned with finance and risk reporting.
**In this influential role, you will**:
- Lead research, evaluation and data insight for our councils.
- Establish a research, evaluation and insight programme working with our extended leadership team.
- Commission and contract manage our annual representative resident survey.
- Develop and maintain a corporate evidence base to support the councils’ outcomes framework and help services to evaluate what works and rapidly prototype new ways of working.
**About you**
Educated to degree level in a related discipline, such as social research, research methods, statistics (or have gained equivalent knowledge through work experience), with extended relevant post qualification experience in social or public policy researchor impact evaluation.
You will need specialist knowledge of social research, evaluation design and delivery and proven experience of working effectively with diverse research partners and stakeholders including academics.
You will also need experience of commissioning and contract managing social or market research surveys and high level knowledge of statistical analysis, applied research methods and survey design.
