**Job Type**: Permanent

**Working Pattern**: Full Time, 37 Hours per week

**Salary Range**:£33,000 - £35,000

**Main duties and responsibilities**:

- To be responsible to manage and deliver commercial activities as outlined in the annual business plan.
- To manage/work with International Trade partners/consultants/trainers ensuring they meet Chambers expectations in delivery of services and costs are managed within constraints.
- To be responsible for the sale of and management/development of Global Membership.
- To be responsible for the implementation and development of the marketing strategy.
- To manage and support the international trade team in delivering their KPI’s and day to day management of export documentation and services.

**Role and responsibilities**
- To meet commercial targets set by the ITMM in line with the International Trade business plan.
- To manage/oversee current commercial services within International Trade, such as export documentation, membership, events, and training schedules.
- To work with Sheffield Chamber to manage/monitor the customs declaration service, HMRC audits and consultancy service.
- To form strong relationships with other key partners and stakeholders that do/may support the Chamber International Trade offering to develop further commercial opportunities and provide benefit and support for chamber members including BCC.
- To continuously investigate and develop chargeable International Trade services to meet needs of clients.
- To manage and develop Global membership offering reviewing quarterly, including liaising with the marketing team to develop content, marketing material and a sales content to support sales teams.
- To be responsible for Global members, including a monthly sales target to recruit Global members, setting quarterly meetings to ensure their needs are met and membership services are utilised to improve retention.
- To work with the events and marketing team to develop a marketing strategy ensuring International Trade services are marketed effectively across all relevant platforms and to legislative requirements.
- Manage individuals in the International Trade team, including day-to-day management, 121 monthly meetings, appraisals, and performance management.
- To be responsible and oversee any related works required to enable the Chamber to continue as a provider of International Trade services, including HMRC/BCC audits, management of consultancy/commercial contracts, budgets working within the P & L parameters.
- All other duties required in relation to the Chamber’s International Trade Commercial activity.

**Knowledge & Experience**
- A minimum of two years working within a hands on, customer facing International Trade role.
