Stately-Albion is a manufacturing company that constructs and assembles residential park homes and luxury holiday lodges that are customer focused in design and value. All of our park homes are built using modern materials and design technology while hand-built in the traditional way to coach-building methods and values. We are currently seeking a Health and Safety Junior Officer to join our Health and Safety department. The successful person for this role will have a strong passion for Health and Safety, as well as all aspects of facilities

**Responsibilities**:

- Reporting directly to the Health, Safety and Facilities Manager.
- Conducting an array of administrative tasks, including taking and making phone calls; arranging appointments; maintaining both paper and computer records (check sheets, tool registration); taking meeting minutes.
- To actively promote a positive health and safety culture throughout the organisation,
- Keeping an up-to-date compliance register and maintaining management systems in relation to health, safety, and facilities. Therefore, ensuring compliance with legislation and any changes in the law.
- Participate in audits, inspections, incident investigation, risk assessments, standard operating procedures.
- Supporting and developing the health, safety, and environmental strategy.
- Working closely with the maintenance operative (and others) to ensure that plant, machinery and tool requirements are met from a procurement and maintenance perspective.
- Maintain the asset register for statutory inspections and examinations (i.e. PUWER/LOLER/Working at Height)
- Partake in Implementing practical and effective methods, both preventative and remedial, of promoting health and safety and safe working practices in the workplace.
- Procure, store and issue PPE to employees.
- Maintaining adequate provisions of first aid consumables and facilities at site.
- Carrying out standard checks on firefighting provisions.
- Dealing with waste requirements daily.
- To present site inductions to contractors and visitors where applicable.
- To be flexible in working requirements, tasks and duties (within your capabilities)

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- Good reaction skills
- Be able to follow instructions and complete tasks in good time, whilst being able to prioritise tasks
- High levels of communication skills (both literate and orally),
- Remain professional at all times
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team

- Good organisational skills

- Remaining confidential with regards using written and verbal communications
- Keen interest in continuous professional development
- To be flexible within the role and demonstrate a willingness to support other business activities

Whilst the role is expressly as the Health, Safety and Facilities Administrator, further progression may in the future develop within the department and or organisation.

The role will be one whereby support will be offered to the right individual to further progress themselves, particularly in topics that are heavily focussed on Health, Safety and Facilities (even extending out to training).

**Schedule**:
Monday to Friday: 08:30 - 16:30hrs (half hour unpaid lunch). Subject to change to suit business and or individual requirements.
