About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Administrator to join our team at EU119 Vishay Newport Ltd. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our facilities and environmental health and safety departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scheduling and maintenance of Environmental Health and Safety training packages and liaising with the Learning and Development team for other training requirements
  • Supporting facilities and environmental health and safety departments with documentation and reporting requirements
  • Supporting environmental health and safety certification audits
  • Recording and updating actions, creating minutes at various meetings
  • Administrative support for VIP visits, including transport and accommodation requirements, and ad-hoc support when on-site
  • Administrative support for the Executive Office

Requirements

  • Prior office management experience preferred
  • Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
  • Qualifications in secretarial studies will be an advantage
  • Strong prioritization and organizational skills
  • Excellent presentation skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Tact, discretion, and respect for confidentiality
  • Pleasant and confident telephone manner
