Training Co-ordinator

A key member of the site HR team providing a proactive, effective, engaging service to the site and all key stakeholders. Ensuring the site is compliant with the mandatory off the job training requirements of the Pilgrim’s Technical, SHE & Engineering Training Matrices & site customers codes of Practice.
Ensure that PAPAYA is accurately maintained for the site and that Technical & SHE Matrices, and any additional mandatory training / Code of Practice requirements are attached to relevant roles.
Ensure that the site is compliant with its off the job mandatory training requirements.
Co-ordinate and book internal and external training courses for sites ensuring the most cost-efficient approach and group size is achieved and that all participants and line managers are clearly communicated with.
Ensure all site managers are trained in the use of PAPAYA and are using the system in a timely and appropriate manner to coordinate, deliver, record and plan their own on the job training requirements.
Delivery of group induction and induction refresher training across sites making full use of technology to maximise the cost effectiveness of delivery.
Maximise the use of Learner Plus as a platform to deliver mandatory courses by e-learning where available
Provide regular monthly updates to site leadership teams on training compliance against Technical, SHE and other mandatory requirements.
Escalate immediately and factually to the site leadership team when potential or actual gaps in training pose a risk to the site, remaining compliant.
Seek and obtain the support of the Site Leadership Team to reduce and remove areas of risk or concern relating to off the job mandatory training
Auditing managers to ensure on the job training is being recorded on PAPAYA & escalating concerns to the Site Leadership Team.
Participation in audits on site.
Contribution to the preparation of the site training budget
Follow all relevant company processes and procedures relating to the training budget expenditure and monitor expenditure within budget
Ensure that training rooms and resources are maintained in good professional order
Proactively share good practice, new approaches and learning from audits with other Training Coordinators and Training Compliance Manager
