Job Summary: Dental Administrator at BPI Dental - Specialist Dental Practice

BPI Dental is a specialist dental practice with a 25-year reputation for excellence. We provide specialist treatments to patients referred from across the Midlands and beyond.

**Responsibilities**:
**1. Referral Management**:

- Handle referrals from general dentists, including gathering patient information and communicating with referring dentists.
- Maintain a system to track referrals throughout the process.

**2. Patient Intake and Scheduling**:

- Schedule consultations and follow-up appointments.
- Collect patient information and medical history.

**3. Patient Communication and Support**:

- Act as a liaison between patients and specialists, relaying questions and concerns.
- Provide updates on treatment progress.

**4. Inventory Management and Supplies**:

- Order and maintain equipment.
- Manage invoices and payments.

**5. Administrative Tasks**:

- Maintain staff HR and CPD records.
- Prepare reports on audits and utility usage.
- Oversee office operations.
- Manage accounts receivable and equipment maintenance.

Salary £22,569.00-£29,287.00 per year-time, dependent on experience and qualifications.

- **Organisation and Prioritisation**: Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- **Attention to Detail**: Excellent accuracy and meticulous approach to ensure all administrative and clinical tasks are completed flawlessly.
- **Communication (Written & Verbal)**: Strong communication skills to interact professionally with patients, staff, and external contacts.
- **Interpersonal Skills**: Positive and friendly manner to build rapport and ensure patient satisfaction.
- **Computer Literacy**: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- **Software Proficiency**: Working knowledge of dental practice management software (experience with SOE would be highly desirable).

**Essential Qualifications**:

- **A Levels/ Equivalent**

**Desirable Skills**:

- Experience in a dental practice setting.
- Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.

**Desirable Knowledge**:

- An understanding of basic accounting practices
- An understanding of GDC and CQC regulations

Pay: £22,569.00-£28,587.00 per year
